Westway Auto Body Sponsors Indy & NASCAR Races at The Milwaukee Mile

Westway Auto Body was a proud sponsor of the IndyCar Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series at The Milwaukee Mile, “America’s Legendary Oval” in May and June. Both racing series were great successes, and Westway was thrilled to be a part of it all. The Mile’s summer excitement continues with a dynamic 2008 schedule that includes the Governor’s Cup Race / Weekend (August 22‒24), the interactive experience “Mobile Mile,” and the Miller Club Vintage Indy Car Meet.

The Governor’s Cup — August 22 thru 24

During the Governor’s Cup Weekend, nearly 200 drivers — including aspiring racers, grass-roots racers, and Wisconsin NASCAR superstar Matt Kenseth — will compete on the Milwaukee Mile track, and for many of these drivers, it’s the fulfillment of a dream to be on the Legendary Oval. Come out for the competition, the fun and the excitement!

The Mobile Mile — Various Dates

The Mobile Mile is a fantastic interactive experience — you can “take the wheel” of The Mile’s force-feedback simulator and race head-to-head around The Milwaukee Mile with visuals and full-throttle sound! And if driving isn’t your cup of tea, you can experience the exhilaration of the tire-change competition, changing a race car tire with a real air gun, just like the pros ¬— your time will be stacked up against the competition.

The Miller Club Vintage Indy Car Meet — July 11 thru 13

The Harry A. Miller Club Vintage Indy Car meet is one of the finest vintage open-wheel events in the U.S., with dozens of priceless Indy cars and open-wheel wonders on display and exercised around the track. The “Miller Meet” brings together the classics of Indy Car racing, including impeccably restored pre-WWI Indy Cars — Mercers, Marmons, Duesenbergs and Millers of the 1920’s and 30’s.
